How to Slow the Flap movement on a Radiomaster Boxer

These instruction add Slow Movement to the Flaps and Voice Feedback

This instruction slows the flap movement for a smoother transition during flight

Start

  • Power on the Transmitter
  • Press the MDL selected
  • Select the Model to add an Slow Flaps

Change to Three position switch

  • Press Page> five times for the Mixes page
  • Scroll down to Ch6 (Flaps), long press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Edit and press the Scroll Wheel again
  • Scroll down to Source, press Scroll Wheel
  • Change SA to SB, press the Scroll Wheel

Slow flap movement

  • Scroll down to the Slow up, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change the setting to 2.5s (2.5 seconds to move), press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Slow down then press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change the setting to 2.5s (2.5 seconds to move), press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN twice times to Exit

The flaps will now take 2.5 seconds to move to the selected position.

Add Voice Feedback

  • Press the Page> button Four times, the Special Functions page should be displayed
  • Scroll down to an empty line, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select SB↑, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll right to Overr, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change Overr to PlyTrk, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the right, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select flapup, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the box, press the Scroll Wheel to Tick the box

The transmitter will say Flaps Up

  • Press RTN
  • Press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Copy, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to the next blank line, press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Paste, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press the Scroll Wheel twice
  • Change SB↑ to SB-, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll right to flapup, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change flapup to flapmd, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN
  • Press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Copy, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to the next blank line, press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Paste, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press the Scroll Wheel twice
  • Change SB- to SB↓, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll right to flapmd, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change flapmd to flapdn, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN three time to exit

When you move the Flap switch away from you the transmitter will say Flaps Up, move to centre position it will say Flaps Middle,  move toward you it will say Flaps Down
