How to Create an Retractable Undercarriage Switch on Radiomaster Boxer

These instruction show you how to create a Retractable Undercarriage Switch on a Radiomaster Boxer

This will allow the Undercarriages to be Lowered and Raised

Start

  • Power on the Transmitter
  • Press MDL button
  • Select the Model to add an Engine Safety Switch
  • Press the Page> button Five time, Mixes page should be displayed

Create Undercarriage Retract on Switch SD position

  • Scroll down to CH5, press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Edit, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press the Scroll Wheel, change Mix Name to geardn, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Source, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to MAX, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Switch, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to SD↑, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN twice
  • On the same line press and hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Insert after, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press the Scroll Wheel, change Mix Name to gearup, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Source, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to MAX, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Weight, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change it to -100, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Switch, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to SD↓, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN twice

Add Voice Feedback based on switch SD position

  • Press the Page> button Four times, Special Functions page should be displayed
  • Scroll down to an empty line, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to SD↑, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Right, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change Overr to PlyTrk, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Right, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select geardn, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Box, Press the Scroll Wheel to Tick the Box
  • Press RTN twice
  • Scroll down to SD↑ ,  press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Copy,  press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Next Blank Line, press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Paste,  press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press the Scroll Wheel twice
  • Change SD↑ to SD↓,  press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Right twice, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change geardn to gearup, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN three to exit

 

  • When the SD switch is away from you the transmitter will say Gear Up and the Landing Gear will retract
  • When the SD switch is toward you the transmitter will say Gear Down and the Landing Gear will deploy
