How to Apply Gear Up and Gear Down only on a Radiomaster TX16s

After creating a New Model with the Wizard LUA Script the Gear switch applies three positions, these instruction changes the Switch to apply only two positions, Gear Up and Gear Down with Voice Feedback

Start

  • Power on the Transmitter
  • With the Model selected press the MDL button
  • Press Page> twice for the Mixes page
  • Scroll down to Ch5 (Gear), press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Edit, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to the Source then press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change SG to MAX, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Switch, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select SG↑, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN
  • On Ch5 press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Insert After, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to the Source, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select MAX, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Weight, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change to -100, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll  to Switch, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press Invert, select !SG↑, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN

Gear Down Voice feedback

  • Press the Page> button Four times, the Special Functions page should be displayed
  • Scroll down to the + sign, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select the next Special Function (top of the list), press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Trigger, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select SG↑, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Function, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Play Track, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Value, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select geardn, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Enable, press the Scroll Wheel

The transmitter will say Gear Down

  • Press RTN

Gear Up Voice feedback

  • Scroll down to the + sign, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select the next Special Function (top of the list), press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Trigger, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press Invert, select !SG↑, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Function, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Play Track, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Value, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select geardn, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to Enable, press the Scroll Wheel

The transmitter will say Gear Up

  • Press RTN twice to exit

When the Gear switch is away from you the transmitter will say Gear Down, either of the other two positions it will say Gear Up
