How to Create a Rate Switch on Radiomaster Boxer

These instruction show you how to create a Rate Switch on a Radiomaster Boxer

This will allow Elevator Ailerons Throws to be 100%, 75% or 50%

Start

  • Power on the Transmitter
  • Press MDL button
  • Select the Model to add an Engine Safety Switch
  • Press the Page> button Four time, Inputs page should be displayed

Create Elevator Rates based on Switch SC position

  • Scroll down to IEle, press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Edit, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Switch, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to SC↑, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN twice
  • Line IEle should be highlighted
  • Press and Hold the Scroll Wheel, Select Insert after, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Weight, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Decrease the number to 75, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Switch, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to SC-, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN twice
  • Line below IEle should be highlighted ->
  • Press and Hold the Scroll Wheel, Select Insert after, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Weight, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Decrease the number to 50, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Switch, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to SC↓, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN twice

Create Aileron rates based on the same switch SC position

  • Scroll down to IAil, press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Edit, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Switch, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to SC↑, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN twice
  • Line IAil should be highlighted
  • Press and Hold the Scroll Wheel, Select Insert after, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Weight, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Decrease the number to 75, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Switch, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to SC-, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN twice
  • Line below IAil should be highlighted ->
  • Press and Hold the Scroll Wheel, Select Insert after, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Weight, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Decrease the number to 50, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll down to Switch, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to SC↓, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN twice

Add Voice Feedback based on switch SC position

  • Press the Page> button Five times, Special Functions page should be displayed
  • Scroll down to an empty line, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to SC↑, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Right, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change Overr to PlyTrk, press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Right, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Select rathi, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Box, Press the Scroll Wheel to Tick the Box
  • Press RTN
  • SC↑ line should be highlighted,  press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Copy,  press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Next Blank Line, press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Paste,  press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press the Scroll Wheel twice
  • Change SC↑ to SC-,  press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Right twice, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change rathi to ratmed, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN
  • SC- line should be highlighted,  press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Copy,  press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Next Blank Line, press and Hold the Scroll Wheel
  • Select Paste,  press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press the Scroll Wheel twice
  • Change SC- to SC↓,  press the Scroll Wheel
  • Scroll to the Right twice, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Change ratmed to ratlow, Press the Scroll Wheel
  • Press RTN twice to exit

When the SC switch is away from you the transmitter will say Hi Rate, the Elevator and Aileron will have 100% movement

When the SC switch is in the middle position the transmitter will say Medium Rate, the Elevator and Aileron will have 75% movement

When the SC switch is toward you the transmitter will say Low Rate, the Elevator and Aileron will have 50% movement
